Two industry leading companies join forces to increase availability of
migratory corrosion inhibitor (MCI) through mortars, coatings, and restoration products
ATLANTA – (July 21, 2005) Sto Corp., the innovative world leader in cladding, coating and restoration systems, announces the formation of a business alliance with Cortec Corporation, a Minnesota-based manufacturer of specialty protection coatings and products that mitigate the effects of corrosion.
This alliance was created to increase the depth of Sto Concrete Façade Repair and Pro-formance Coatings product lines as well as to enhance Cortec’s ability to offer integrated protection solutions. The agreement will utilize established mortars, coatings, and enhanced claddings products from Sto Corp.
“Cortec is a well-known manufacturer of migratory corrosion inhibitors (MCI) and a natural selection for developing an alliance,” said Alan D. Jolley, Sto Market Manager. “Their products further complement the already extensive restoration product line found here at Sto.”
Benefits to the industry resulting from the synergies found in this formal association include an expansion of integrated product solutions for customers and more readily accessible restoration expertise and knowledge from experienced sales people found on both sides across the country.
